US burger chain in UK launch
US burger chain Carl's Jr is preparing to open a large number of franchises in the UK. The group, which operates more than 3,100 restaurants in 18 countries, is looking for potential franchisees able to invest £16 million for 25 or more units. A spokesperson added that the group hopes to have its first UK sites open towards the end of the year.
