Costa released its latest figures which show that they have had an incredible 42 quarters of consecutive growth with the latest underlying profits growing to £36.1m.
Costa's jump in sales by 29.9% has helped to boost the sales for the wider group, contributing to an increase in pre-tax profits for Whitbread of £191.9m, a 1.5% rise. Total Revenues were up by 14.2 % to £1.02bn.
Chief Executive Andy Harrison said that Costa's performance was "outstanding".
Whitbread has also announced that is already on track to creating an additional 10,000 jobs over the next three years as its growth plans continue, having already created 1,500 jobs in the UK.
