H&M has said that sales in its established stores grew 3% in local currencies in June, with total sales rising 13%, as customers' demand for budget clothing showed no sign of slowing. The Swedish chain, which is the world's second largest clothing retailer, added that its store portfolio had also increased, with 2,596 stores open on June 30th 2012, versus 2,305 on June 30th 2011.
