Retail Trust has announced the opening of a pop-up store in Brighton this Saturday as part of its Retail Ready People project. The pop-up will be run by volunteers on the free 12-week skills development course, which gives 16-25-year-olds the chance to set up and run a pop-up shop in their local area.
The store will give customers the opportunity to screen-print their own t-shirts, bags and cards from a choice of designs by local artists who will be showcasing their work to the public.
Throughout November, Make Away will be located at 18 Brighton Square, and will be open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am until 5pm, plus four evenings where the creative hub will come alive with workshops in button-covering, felting, jewellery-making and screen-printing.
